Bauwer Step 35 L

Bauwer Step Thermal Insulation Dry Mix is made of cement binder and environmentally friendly mineral fillers – vermiculite and perlite. It is used for insulation and creating a thermal insulation layer in the “underfloor heating” system with electric or water heating, floor and ceiling insulation, and reducing the impact sound index.

Thermal conductivity coefficient — 0.106 W / (m • ºK). Increased vapor permeability of the material prevents excess moisture accumulation within the wall or ceiling structure layer and eliminates the formation of condensation zones throughout the entire thickness of the insulation layer.

Bulk density of the thermal insulation mortar — 400 kg/m³.

Impact sound insulation index at 65 mm thickness: with concrete screed — 18 dB; with ceramic tile — 14 dB.

Suitable for manual and mechanized application.

The contents of one package of dry mix yield at least 35 liters of mortar mix, sufficient to cover 1 m² with a thickness of 35 mm.

Thermal homogeneity coefficient — 1.

Effective service life of the insulation system based on Bauwer thermal insulation mixes — over 25 years.
